Zoo York

I rode on the West Side Highway today. It was breathtaking. From 72nd down to 14th. I felt nourished cruising down the bike lane. It felt good to be outside of an office or an apartment and moving through a cool wind at 20mph, Jersey to my right and Hell's Kitchen to my left. It's good to throw yourself out there once in a while, whether that means to go for a run, a bike ride, dance, light something on fire, roll around in dirt, let rain pour down on your bald head, stay still without saying anything, build a fire, draw a picture, or play an instrument. Any one thing that's simple but that reminds you of how natural it feels to remain in the present.
